Replacing fixed high speed jet

Wondering if someone could help me out here-I have a 1975 4 hp evinrude with a fixed high speed jet that was corroded and plugged up, in the process of opening I ruined the jet, I was wondering if I could replace with a high speed needle jet-Thanx in advance

Are you sure you have a 1975 4hp? It is supposed to already have an adjustable HS needle. Any chance somebody put an older/incorrect carburetor on it? Somebody trying to increase horsepower maybe?

Thanx for the response, Its a Euro model-I know the carbs different I just dont want to buy another card was hoping I could put the adjustable jet in without mesiing the flow up-
