Hi,
I have found a leak inmy carby thats causing all sorts of problems, flooding, etc so I am looking to get a remanufactured carby.
I have only found a few places that say they have the weber carby I have, which I believe is original part # "3310-806755A 1"
These guys seem to do the "A 2" verison, which I assume will work:
http://www.psepmarineparts.biz/store/mercruiser_carburetors.htm
but its a bit pricey.
I am of the impression that a Rochestor quadrajet is a standard carby also, just not what I currently have.

Does anyone see an issue with putting one of these on my engine, I am told they will bolt straight on. I think I will need a new fuel line, as its in a different spot, a new flame arrestor, and I may need to modify the throttle linkage perhaps.
Anyone done this, or can point me in the right direction.
I am in Australia so parts etc are a bit of a problem.
