1968 Johnson 65hp v4 - How to remove plug wires from distributer?

Need to continue testing for no spark.

Question: How do I remove the coil wire at the distributer end? Tried disconnecting it with no luck and do not want to force anything.

They screw in and out. Grab ahold of it and turn. Normal threads, lefty-loosey / righty-tighty.
