I have a 74 Thunderbird with a Mercury 90. There is NO serial number Anywhere on this motor or the transom mount. It is a 6 cyl. The cover has a red stripe with silver and gray stripes on the decal.
I see a decal that says "void" where a sticker must have been removed. Im hoping I didnt buy a boat with a stolen engine. Is there ANY way to tell the year of the motor? I was told it was a 1989, but not sure.
Any help is much appreciated.
