Buying a new boat that does not come with a trailer. My old one came with a trailer, so I've never paid much attention to them.

The boat is a 26' Regal 2010. Probably looking at an aluminum trailer, but interested in learning what I should be looking for in a trailer, about what it should cost, and recommended brands.

The dealer is offering to sell a new 2007 aluminum Road King to me for $4,000. Is that a good price or not?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Its probably not a bad price, may be a little high for an 07 trailer but if its in new condition then its not to bad.
You can always find one for less, but you will have to look and may not find it for quite so time.
If it comes with some warranty then id hagal with him some. But in the end you need a trailer so.....

Gonna hafta decide on bunks or rollers.

Lot of work setting up the trailer for the boat. See if the dealer will include in the price.
