here's the ad, we were looking for a replacemnt truck...we found anything under $3k was usually a total waste of time....all the trucks we checked out were similar cond to this one! finally did find a 1996 chevy pu that was immaculate and bought it for $3400 137k miles 2 wheel drive 5.7l motor extra cab stepside tow package etc no oil leaks whatsoever....
the lesson...dont buy the first pile of problems you go look at

ok I know you dont get too much for $2700 these days, but jeez cabeez, this thing was a pile....
Body was actually decent, cept the doors didnt close too good, leaking radiator with rust water coming out, leaking water pump, everything was dripping oil profusely! 4x4 cv joints all leaking grease torn, tranny SLIPPING super bad barely moved! motor ran smooth till you went to gas it a bit, bogged out no power whatsoever, pretty much almost stalling out
interior, radio MISSING, holes in plastic panels where they hacked in some speakers......pass seat back broken wont stay up, greasy floor, the 4x4 was lift blocks and the frt part looked home welded on...not safe
total waste of time unless youre looking for a major project thats for sure...
the good it had an alarm! and the rims and tires were pretty cool...
