Hello, I have a 2005 2 stroke three cylinder 60 hp mercury. It has low hours but it has always been dependable. This duck season I left the ramp and went about 100 yards and it died. It would crank right back up and go another 100 yards or so and do it again. I took it to my mercury dealership and he said it had no compression on the bottom cylinder. I was wondering what would have caused this and what is a fair price I could expect to get it repaired for.
