4.3 V6 Car & Boat engines

Hi

I'm new to this place, from the UK and in need of some help.

I have a Mercruiser that has a no good 4.3 V6 in it that I need to replace. Can someone tell me if the 4.3 Chevy V6 from a car has any differences to the basic engine out of a boat. By basic I mean the block and heads.

If their are differences then what are they.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,....
Basically, the Block,+ Heads are basically the Same...
Once you passed the Basics,...
Truck motors are More the same as a Marine motor, than a Car motor, which is still Basically the Same...
But,...
Doing what you want to do,.... Vintage is Very Important, the swaps should be the Same Vintage....
