four winns vdo cluster help

i have a 99 four winns 245 sundowner with the infamous vdo cluster. my question is can i get rid of it and use single guages that will work correctly or am i stuck with the vdo cluster? thanks

You can change to whatever you want,We carry the four winns line here at the yard and the VDO clusters can be a PITA.

if i decide to intstall another brand like faria do i have to change the sending units? thanks

Since you have an I/O, your looking at tach sender, fuel sender, engine coolant temp sender, and probably oil pressure sender. Go on Farias website, Faria Gauge Downloads, and check out the install manuals on each gauge.
