Tiller arm for 1976 40hp 402 Mercury

I have a 40hp model 402 Mercury that is both elec and manual start. This engine come off a old boat I am redoing. I would like to change this engine over to a tiller steer motor. Could anyone point out what tillers from what years and models (including other hps) that might fit my engine? Does anyone have any suggestions where I can find a tiller (other then ebay, been there done that)?
