I have an old 3hp johnson model jwf22g. I have no idea what year it was made. serial no. E2782657. Any help appreciated.

JWF-21 is 1967, JWF-23 is 1968 ??

Perhaps its 1967? :D

JW - 22, no 'F', is 1967

I'll look at another list.

Not listed in the parts list for 1968 so reckon it must be a 1967 unless you have misread the number. JHF-22 is a 1967

This motor is in the case and is in excelllent condition. the no. are correct . Can one get a manual on these old motors?

What do the various letters mean?

F or folding and W for weedless ?

Value would vary widely;depending on who is interested.
I'm a little outside of the collector circle.but a factory new in the box
motor could go for $400-500.nice used 200 to 400. Guys closer to the hobby might have a more specific suggestion.
