I have a couple of pieces of discarded drain pipe 14" to 18" I found from a road project. Used a sawzall to cut V's to match the transom and near the bow. Jack the trailer tongue jack all the way down. Insert transom brace. As you jack up, the stern will be free of the trailer. Go up enough to position the front brace. Ease the trailer out, using a temporary support to clear the axle.
Just have a good floor jack to help transition the axle out from under kyour supports...thanks to tashasdaddy for this procedure..worked for me.
