Got back from Rufus woods last week, mostly for triploids but we did spend a few hours bottom bouncing with spinners and tossed a few jigs out but no bites. I'm heading back there in a few days, staying closer to the dam (grand coulle) should help but I'm still confused about trolling spinners in current. Would I be trolling upstream very slow or trolling downstream a bit faster than the current? Any walleye info is welcomed thanks.

Re: Columbia River Winter Walleye

alot of people just anchor. there is enough current to work the spinner.
