ok, so I've never owned a boat before. Daddy always said two best days in a man's life was the day he "bought" a boat and the day he "sold" it.
So, I found this old 62 Arrow, rated for a 40 ph motor and has a 68 Crysler 55 hp motor sticking on the back. I agreed to the huge price of $350 as long as I got boat, motor, trailer and the old parts motor leaning on a tree behind the boat.
I spent 3 days buffing out and shining up the gelcoat after 47 years of hot Texas sun. Using my best staple gun, I recovered the seats and slapped another battery in it. I cleaned the terminals and connections from the battery all the way to the starter and guess what happened.....
She purr's like my cat. nice stream of water shooting out the back. I immediately jumped in my pick up and bought a lottery ticket.
