Johnson 35 HP oil injection WARNING

I just installed a 2000 35HP,3 cylinder on my river boat. On the oil tank is a warning not to use the oil injection if you have a built in fuel system in your boat, only use it with OMC fuel tank or equal.WHY!!!!!!

no idea!!!! also it is not oil injected, it is and auto mixing. the fuel pump mixes the oil and fuel.

the pumps and oil system were not that strong.

On those 3 banger motors its best to premix as oil mix reliability wasn't the best.
