I live in NJ, but I grew up in Alaska, and I'm a pickup guy at heart.

I decided I absolutely hated my current daily driver, an 00 Mitsubishi Diamante, and I wanted a truck.

Found a 1 owner, no rust, unmolested 1991.5 Dodge 3/4 Ton 4x4 Diesel.

Woot! ;)

What a killer truck!

I need a different tow rig also... My boat and trailer ~ 4200 lbs wet, and my Xterra is gonna die pulling it. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay?

Hard to find nice ones in decent shape these days.

Nice, though...all mechanical. There's barely any electronics on the entire truck.

That should do the trick for the boat as well as gettin around in the old white stuff. bbrrrr:D

Looks very nice, I tow with a 97 Dodge Cummins Club Cab 4x4. With a #10 Fuel Plate, 3K Governor Spring Kit, AFC Spring Kit and a Modded trans it pulls the boat like its not there and will pull our 10K 5'ver up hills easily as well.

Photo is the business end of mine showing the Sport Headlight mod I installed on it.

I love the older boxy pickups. I got my '90 Chevy about 5 years ago. Just rolled over 100k this year.

Take your Dodge diesel to some one who really knows them and a small adjustment on your mechanical fuel pump will give you more horse power than you could ever use.;)

Yea those old diesels that can run without a battery or alt are great and a great running gear under those trucks, good luck with it.
We have an 89 with a 360 we use to move boats and the thing is a tank.

Does it sound like a semi truck ?

$5500???? Your going to JAIL!!!! :eek: You stole that thing :D I have a 05 Chevy Avalanche with a wiring harness as big as your arm in some places. What you got it true ball bone TRUCK! Good Find!!!

Gosh that is one sweet looking dodge! Would love to have an old truck like that. You can fix just about anything on the side of the road with a good set of tools.

If I would have seen that I could have saved a ton of cash! I need an extended cab though because the wife won't let me tie the kids to the bumper.

Yeah...I always thought the stickers looked terrible.

She was a great truck, lots of power, nice and comfy ride...11 MPG.

I'm going to drive the diesel (which does indeed sound like a small semi-truck...lol) stock for a while, chart some mileage, etc., and then maybe buy a couple gauges and turn things up a bit.

We'll see, though...not really in a rush...yet. ;)

Somebody babied that beast! Congrats!

I have owned a pickup all my life until i bought my Tahoe new back in 99.
I just can't bring myself to trade her in.112000 on the clock and runs like new.
Still would love that truck you found tho'.....;)
