Offshore Fishing Boats

I need to buy a offshore fishing boat to be used out of Coos Bay, Or. I would like something from 27 to 30 ft long. Needs to be under 20K. Is the late 70s to mid 80s boats still ok? Carver,Tollycraft,Sportcraft ect. Are these old boats still seaworthy.

Condition, condition, and condition. Those are the three things to look for regardless of age.Especially in salt water. Use this site to get pricing.

there was a post awhile back on how thin the hull was on the carver.
