hi. new to the posts obviously. okay. so i have interests in a certain type of boat, the thing is the wife has her interests. she loves to come with me on trips. have a 88 22ft cdory.

i have been thinking it is time to move up. i like that size, but i would like a inboard jet boat. something not too heavy. a hardtop and elcosed. a little space in the back to do some fishing.

the wife wants, indoor not portable lavatories, something to sleep on,

now here is the thing. i live in alaska up here we use our boats for everything. Some poeple crab with them in dec. often -20 degrees. we take them on the river (low draft). we take them in the ocean for a week at a time. we fish on the lakes. we use them for deer/ bear/ and moose hunting.

i love to go river boating and i see people all the time with their enclosed thunderjet boats all the way up the river. honestly my knowledge of boat brands is not that great. so is there a boat that can satisfy both my and my wifes needs.

Ayuh,... I think you're going to have to research pretty much your local area,...
That being from the pacific northwest to Alaska...
You guys out there run some Super Specialized boats,..
I've seen a few around here, mostly GIs fromthe northwest...
I'd love to have something like that here....
It's the Jet-drive thing,....

I don't think you'll find that all-around boat but good luck. Lavatory means cabin and I don't think I have seen a cabin boat that can tackle the shallow rivers we have here in Washington. Maybe your rivers are deeper. Good Luck, you can look at thunderjet, customweld, north river to start, they do make custom boats but your gonna pay. If I had to replace my 98 customweld cobra today with a new one, I think it runs around 54,000 and thats a 20 foot.
