Scale in risers and exhaust manifolds

Does anyone have any effective tricks to clean scale from exhaust manifolds? Thank you!

Mine were real bad on my Seaswirl. I took both manifolds off and used Vinegar and a pressure washer. It worked pretty well. But there is probably something better out there. I think I heard someone say thay they used CLR and had good results.

Ayuh,.... Sure Do,..... Replace 'em....

The crap you're trying to dig out of them,... Used to be cast iron, Now it's Gone....

Take em off and knock em with a ball peen hammer. When I say knock I mean Tap. take an air hose and blow them out. pressure test them afterward to see if you dont have any pinholes. if you do replace them..
