I think your year has a choke solenoid? (I'm currently rebuilding my 84 which has an enricher valve) Do they move at all or just a bit? Check all your connections to make sure the're tight. Have a friend hit the choke and use an volt meter to see if there is curent going to the solenoid, if there is than it's your solenoide. You'll have to order a new one unless your hand enough to take it apart and fix her. If there isn't current flowing to the solenoid than you have a broken wire or connection somewhere or your switch is bad.
You could also supply current directly to your solenoid, if she works than you know you have a connection or switch issue.
