Lazer 320ES problems

HI I have a Motorguide Lazer 320ES (wired) that has decided to go bonkers. None of the control features work correctly. The system does not turn off, it goes to various speeds at whim, etc. etc. It will "reset" at power disconnect, but then goes through the same routine. I am enough of a troubleshooter that I disassembled the thing and found that the motor itself seems OK ( runs when 12 volts is applied) but there is an issue with the control board. Foot controller switches were examined as well after disassembly and appear to work. All contacts were cleaned. Any insight into what could go wrong with the board? I'd be willing to buy another one for a reasonable price. My phone conversation with the only local repair shop indicated a several hundred dollar investment -- the motor isnt worth it. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I have a 320ES that worked fine last summer but my loving sons lost the foot controller.

Unfortunately, you've violated two of the forum rules in both of your first two posts: no soliciting and no e-mail addresses. It's also frowned upon to dredge up old threads.

Try e-Bay to find the parts you need, perhaps an entire motor that can be scavenged.
