oil/gas mix

I'm sure that this question was answered before, but..what's the correct oil/gas ratio for a Merc 3.6 HP 1982 vintage?

In it's time it was 20 or 25:1 , can I assume 50:1 with the modern oils ???

25:1 is really oily thats for like a 2stroke dirtibke redlining all day. id go 50:1 or what ever it runs best on

50:1 is the correct ratio. TCW3 oil is the correct oil to use.

I doubt that TCW2 or 1 is even sold anymore.
