Hey guys.
Ive got a 1988 Goldband Mercury 90hp Motor which has some issues. Basically. It wont start in idle and you must have the throttle on to start. Its seems to be spurting out fuel from the carby and one of the bolts on the carbi (maybe the adjustment ones) But we can seem to budge them to either tighten or loosen. Once you give it revs it seems to either not get enough fuel or to much and just cuts out.
I cant get it in anyshop for at least 3 weeks as is summer here in australia. We checked it out last night and seems maybe the automatic choke or air fuel mixture is not right something along those lines. Not really sure..
Anyone have any ideas of a diy fix to this?!
Cheers
