My neighbour has a Mercury 70HP, 3-cylinder outboard. I convinced him it's time to do an impellor change so I did a serial number check using about 8 sites where these are listed, but couldn't find it.
The serial number, recorded on the plate on the port side of the transom bracket, is
8022278A
Any advice on what year this would be?
Also would anyone be able to identify the impellor number and the complete pump rebuild kit number?
