This is a 4 cyl engine that starts but has a miss. I noticed that the two bottom cylinder arent firing. I pulled the spark plugs and turned the engine over to check the spark and the bottom two plugs wouldnt fire. I pulled the plug wires from each individual coil and ohmed them from the output to each input and they were nearly the same as the ones that were firing. I would suppose that switch box would be the next in line to check. My question is, is there a way to test the switch box?

Good troubleshooting guide for the CDI switch boxes, yours may be a CDI or mercury but the terminals are the same and the test is the same.
