57 Chevy boat - help identifying

I ran into this boat locally and the seller doesn't really know anything about it.

Do any of the experts know anything about this boat? I'm seriously interested in picking it up.

Looks a lot like an old Crestliner JetStreak, although someone has done a pretty good job of ruining it by removing the foredeck...

I've been doing some searching and I think it might be a '58 Duracraft Supreme. It looks like some of the interior area around the helm etc is missing though.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head! Looks like she's missing a lot of sheet metal...

I received some more pictures of the boat from the seller and all the bow area sheetmetal is basically gone. He want's $400 for the boat but I'm thinking I'll probably pass.

Good call. It's a $100 boat - IF it has paperwork. Too bad they hacked it up. Fully dressed it's a sharp looking boat!

That dude is into Corvairs. That's a Rampside pickup and I'm guessing the motorhome is a Corvair powered Ultravan.
