OMC 140 STRING 400 Drain plugs?

Trying to get antifreeze inside of this for the winter. What do the drain plugs look like and how many are there? Does the water drain into the engine compartment?

Should be a plug on the port side just above the oil pan gasket, the manifold may have a similiar plug or a rubber cap at the end.

Just two, both of them on the intake side of engine, one on bottom of intake and one sticking out of side of block in about the same place. take them all the way out if you can. you will be surprised at how much water comes out of it.

And if you pull the plugs and get nothing or just a few drops, take stiff wire or small screwdiver and poke the holes as a lot of times crud and silt will block them. And yes it will drain into boat. 'nutcase

I spent 15 minutes looking for these over the weekend and could not locate them. On the port side, how far is it from the flame arrester? I felt all over that area and couldn't feel them. Are they 2 black, rubber plugs?

I feel dumb.

Depending on the type of riser it may not have a drain plugand drains with the manifold.See if this pic helps.I know it for a V8 but you can see the cap on the bottom of the manifold
