Anybody know how to find out who the lien holders are on a boat through the HIN?

Specifically talking Florida registration.

Can you do a "title" search in Florida? In California, any lien holder would also be named on the Registration Certificate that one needs to have on the boat at all times. Only other I could think of finding out about a lien holder would be to miss a payment!! Good luck.

That's funny!

No it's not mine the boat is being offered by an auction company and when you combine the costs they add up to high for that boat.

If I can figure out who holds the liens then I can attempt to make a reasonable deal for it directly.

Can you run a search through the DMV with the HIN, or maybe DNR.

Go down to your local DMV with the VIN and have them look it up. They can pull this info up for you.​
