I have the 5.0Tks 2006 Motor Getting ready to drain the water for the winter. I found 6 Blue drain plugs. All i Have to do is take them out and leave them out for winter?

I have never winterized an engine so I have no idea what you do with the plugs.
What I do know is that at the top of this forum they have a winterizing link.
They even have manuals you can download.

That step to get the engine ready for winter will work as long as you make sure you poke all of the holes a few times while draining the water out to get any sand, Dirt, ect, out so the engine will not still hold any water some place.
