The #1 spark plugs on both f225's have carbon buildup while the rest of the spark plugs are normal. The 2004 F225's with 700 hours on them run fine and have serviced the engines on schedule or well before. Shortly after changing the spark plugs I notice that the #1 cylinder spark plugs on both engines get carbon buildup while the rest of the spark plugs are normal.

My 90hp has the same issue. The bottom or #4 spark plug is white where the other three are a redish brown color. My bottom plug is the one fartherst from the fuel pump, but hydraulic principle will allow it to receive the most readily available fuel. (Less restriction through the hose than through the needle and seats in carbs). I don't know if your particular motor has carbs or not, but my carbureted engine, I had to adjust the air mixture screws to get it to balance out.
