If there is a way to bolt a 155hp V-6 Buick engine to a Cobra or Mercruiser Alpha 1 setup? Is the buick bolt pattern different from a sb GM? Is there a bellhousing/coupler? Also would need to plumb exhaust too, huh? It has an OMC stringer which i'd like to do away with.

Buick engine DO NOT share the chevy bolt pattern. Do yourself a favor, find a 4.3 or a small block v8.

What Buick engine is a 155HP? The reason I ask is because I know for a fact you can bolt a Buick 231 to a Chevy tranny, my kids 1983 Buick regal is set up like that. I'm not implying it would be a good swap for the op but, I want to know what engine that is.

...but that tranny does not have the standard chevy bolt pattern.
