Telescoping ski bar alternatives?

So does anyone know of an alternative? My dealer wants $850 installed!!!!!!

I wouldn't mind one that just hard mounts in the same area...

This Hurricane owners forum doesn't seem very active.......

I'm super excited about mine! Hope I can get her wet before the snow flies!

I know your question is two years old but did you find any alternative? I have gone through 2 of them by replacing them myself. It's a pain but worth the money saved. It is bent right now along with the fiberglas cracked around it and I am using a tow bridle on my 232 with 200hp Merc. I would love to find a different way.

Hi,

I ended up getting one for free due to some warranty issues/problems with the boat. I had a local shop install for ~ $200 I've since sold the boat, but the factory telescoping ski bar was fantastic!
