87 Skeeter gas tank and live well drain

My Skeeter has I think a 28 gal fuel tank it runs out of gas about at the 14 gal mark and how do you access the tank also rear live well drain cable doesnot open to drain rear live well tank would like help Thanks

Sounds to me like there is something floating in your fuel line that cloggs when it gets to that level. As for the live well issue, are you sure it isn't clogged. I posted on here recently with a similar question. Found out BOTH my livewell drain lines were clogged with mud dobber nests. Had to dig around with coat hangers and blow it out with a garden hose. Works good now.

I would suspect the pickup tube stops at that level. I do not know this particular tank, but chances are the bottom piece was a flexible piece of tubing with a "klunk" on the bottom. If it was stored dry for a few years these tubes get brittle and fall apart. Just a suggestion . . .
