Not sure just got the motor two days ago and new to the boat thing. I rebuilt the interal wiring harness. Things are just messed up all over the boat. What is the best manual to buy also? It is just a singal wire from the harness that runs over to the distributor.
If it's a single wire from the harness hooked to it it's a magneto or if there are 3 wires going to a box on the inside of the front face plate it's CD. Single wire is a ground off wire for the mag and 3 wires are signal wires don't hook 12 volt to either unit or you will cook something.
Thanks alot... Got that figured out. I have no spark.... I took all the spark plugs out and tested them one by one no spark coming from any of them, when I crank the motor over
