JW-14 3hp Dripping Fuel from Intake

I rebuilt the carb when I bought this gem this summer and it runs great. The only issue I have is that when it is stored (and only when it is spun forward, so the carb is angled downwards slightly, fuel is leaking out of the intake.

The term leaking may be an exaggeration, it's more seeping than it is leaking. It's enough to send a drip or two to the floor over the course of a few days.

The fuel is shut off... but I imagine it must be letting some fuel through. It also leaks fuel into the water if I tilt the motor up without running the bowl dry.

Any suggestions?

Edit:

Just to clearify, the carb rebuild involved new gaskets, needle, seat, needle-to-float clip and welch plug. The float is cork but is in great shape.

The float level may be a tad high. have you tried running it down a bit before you shut if off? as for the leaking when you tilt it. Thats normal as far as i know, mine does the same thing.

A drip or two? Might be a loose/leaky needle valve but I would not worry about it...
