I recently purchased a 75 HP 1975 Johnson outboard motor. The old motor was a 1992 70 HP Johnson. The wireing is different which effects my tilt/trim guage. I have a brown wire and white stripped wire not hooked up in the motor compartment. On the guage, I have alot of wire hooked up to it, but guage does not respond to tilt movement.
