Going to look at a 150 johnson tomorrow that runs ruff, any ideas?

I found this 150 johnson for my boat on craigslist and I am going to look at it tomorrow but the guy said it runs ruff. It is late 80's, early 90's he said. I will do a compression check on it but what else should I look for? He wants like $325 for it with controls. Any help appreciated

Well I looked at the motor today and found out it is a 1987 and the compression was 50, 50, 55, on one side and 75, 75, 75 on the other. The factory spec says 120 when brand new. Should I waste my time, I could probably get it for $150, 200 bucks?

if you want a parts engine buy it......... if not it would be an expensive anchor.
