It was time to move the dock to its winter cove......about 2 kms from our cottage. This usually involves either lashing it to the side of my 17.5/75hp or towing it with the same. I have to say this has always been a real pain. NO LONGER!!! This year I bolted a makeshift mount to the end and dropped the little 1965 9.5hp you guys helped me rebuild on it. It easily powered my 10'x24' dock and steering was a breeze for a change. The more I run this quiet little (tricky to work on) motor....the more I love it. I'd say its more like a 7.5 or 8 hp......but it sure is quiet, smooth, and will troll all day. thanks again

So I'm thinking the dock would not plane? Good for you. They are easy to get attached to. Rick.

Great little work horses. Ours comes in with a 5.5 air cooled Ted Williams (my buddies) not far to go with it but it sure makes life easier.
