We have a 1977 Viking with a Merc 888-Ford 302. The bilge water is very oily. When I check the dipstick, it doesnt show any oil a couple times. If you bring the level back up is wont hold that level. It definitely has a oil leak from someplace. Looking for a suggestion where the leak might be on the engine??
I checked the oil filter and its not leaking. We use Mobil 1 in it. Could this be part of the problem? thanks for any help.
