I put in a new water pump assembly in the 9.9 hp Evinrude. It was an easy install but am wondering about the lack of water from the tell-tail. A few drops is all that comes out. I noticed something that looks like a thermostat housing on the powerhead, is that what it is? The engine runs great and doesn't get hot, slightly warm, but not hot. Is this the norm for these engines?
