I have recently decided to replace my deck and stringers so I have a fresh boat for the spring. I have done a lot of reading up on how to do it but i dont know how much epoxy resin, epoxy hardener, and fberglass mat i will need. The supplies seem to be quite expensive so if possible i would like to take the cheapest route but i also dont want to have to do this all over again in a few years. My deck is roughly 6 feet wide and about 15 feet long, I will probably do the same 3 stringers and 4 to 5 bulkheads, if its not necessaary I will probably only cover the bulkheads and stringers with the fiberglass mat, also the outside area of the deck. If anybody has done this on a similar sized deck it would be much appreciated if you could tell me how much of each product i should need and also what products are best to use. i will most likely order them off the marine store on the site unless i can find somewhere close to here that sells them. I live in southwestern ontario near owen sound.
