3cyl, 2stroke. Motor No: OT064381 SN: 1060412WD 175hrs on clock.
The motor was unusually hard to start on last outing so I decided look into it. Found the top two plugs had water on them. I dried and reinstalled them. The motor started quite easily. I ran fresh water through it, (the telltail had good strong steam pumping out) then disconnected the fuel line and ran it until it had no fuel. The next day, I removed the plugs and found both top plugs were again wet. The bottom one was fine. I have not had a compression test yet.
It has a developed a slight knock when its running.
What could cause the wet plugs? Exhaust, Seals, gaskets etc or more serious... cracked block? Are there any things I can check to get to the bottom of it.
Appreciate any help.
Cheers,
Pete
