Mercury 115 horse carberator fuel leaks

The carberators on my 155 horse 6 cylinder are leaking from a screw plug at the bottom of each carb. I had a power problem and had them rebuilt. These screw plugs do not appear to have gaskets. Should they? I have not worked on these carbs before and will probably have to remove them to remove the screws.

Will this cause a potential headache due to my not being familiar with these? Are there other components on the inside of these?

It took most of the summer to have the primary problem solved by the shop that worked on the motor.

How long after the carb rebuild did they start to leak? If they have leaked since it was worked on, I'd bring it back to the ppl who did the repair. It might be they only need to be tightened, or they need a gasket, however, if you paid for the repair, it should have been done correctly, not up to you to fix it.

Yes they take gaskets.
