well how long did merucry make there cross flow engines. all the way up the 90's is it? and i know omc make the first looper in 1968 with the 55hp. then everythign else was looper for omc? right?

i don't know about merc, but OMC made loopers and cross flows for many years. depending on the year and model.

were the big fat v4's crossflows? like in the 70's umm the big motors 85 and 115hp

The 90 degree V4 plain and bubble back engines were crossflow. Sometime in the '90s, OMC made a narrower 60 degree V4 looper. Not sure about Ficht. I suspect they were loopers.

BTW: How Long is a Chinese fellow. LOL

i bet the fitch motors are loopers since they get better fuel eco

im kinda thinking all the 90 degree blocks are crossy and 60 degree blocks are loopers

are there any 90 degree v6's?
