1979 OMC 800 Prop Nut Torque

What's the Torque spec for the Prop Nut on a 1979 OMC 800 SternDrive with 250hp Ford 351ci engine?

I've Searched/downloaded all manuals in the adults only section. No can find.

My Mercuiser Seloc says 35-45ft. Is it the same for OMC? Thanks.

Well just winging it since it?s being put to sleep for the winter. Looks like it's just a tighten until the cotter pin will slide in. Mine just touches the hub with the castellations lining up. The next castellation would need lots of torque. Nut was finger tight when removed, so I figure it worked out for the previous owner.

Any additional input, or confirmation, would be great. Thanks.

Next project.............wake up the sleds!
