Recently I had to do some electrcal work on my 1979 70HP 3 cylinder Merc.
I had a lot of trouble finding a GOOD schematic of the electrical system. Especially one which showed the keyswitch in sufficient detail and preferably in color.
I finally found one from another motor which was identical except for being a 4 cylinder and some other details. I then modified the diagram in Paint Pro to accurately reflect the 3 cylinder model.
I have checked it out thoroughly and have attached it here as partial payment for the help I have received on this site.
