Ran like a bat outta he'll. Won't go into reverse tho just revs. Please help with that. Also she's a bit jhard to start. Didn't adjust the idle screws on the carb as the fishing was too good to tinker. That'll be next time.

Would appreciate any guidance you can give on my no reverse problem. Thanks!!!

Remove the wrap cowl and observe the movement of the shift cable. If it is working, disconnect the shift cable and try to shift the motor manually. The prop should rachet CW in forward, and turn only 1/2 rev each way in reverse.

It'll shift into reverse when it's not running. I bet it's just an adjustment.

As far as the idle. If it idles too long it'll die. I think my idle mixture is too rich and fouling the plugs as it's hard to start afterwards.
