Hey All,

As the title says, I am looking to add a marine horn to my cart on iboats. I have never installed one, some I am looking for some recommendations.

The boat is a 18 foot sylvan, and I was thinking/planning on installing the horn upfront right underneath the tip of the bow.(under where the bow light is)

Question: Will it work good in that spot? Which one should I order off Iboats? How loud will it be?

The horn doesn't need to be mounted in front, mine actually is on the side of the Cuddy cabin. Water from the front may shorten it's life expectancy. The horn ises 12VDC ands a momentary switch. Couldn't have a much easier wiring project.

Good point!....the wiring is not an issue... Now would a horn rated to 108dp be loud?

Agree, mines inside my CC (vented to front) :cool:
