What type of dual batteries for my Monterey Montura?

Right now I have a single Duralast Marine battery in my boat. I've ordered a Perko 8603 selector switch and I'm going to purchase another battery. Should I purchase another marine battery or a standard automobile battery to start and run the boat? I want that 2nd battery just in case.

my dual battery setup has one cranking battery for starting only and one deep cycle marine battery i switch to when im anchored to run electronics. cranking batteyr i believe can be a car battery but if your using a trolling motor or stereo and what not the car battery will die fast. the deep cycle battery is designed to lose there charge slowly and take more recharges before there toast
