I have a 1969 evinrude 4hp yachtwin that belonged to my father and do not know mix ratio or how to adjust speed or idle knobs, I have no paper work, so anything you can help me with would be great. thanks mopops

The first and best thing i can say is,,,, "You need a manual".
The second thing is, try to post in the correct forums. this is a Electrinics and trolling forum...:mad:

Using a gas outboard for trolling doesn't make it a troller, mopops. Trollers are electric.

You have one of the. . . . no, THE best small outboard ever made. Treat her with the respect she deserves. Get an Owner's Manual and a Service Manual. . . factory, no aftermarket junk.

Fuel mix is 50:1.
